Here is the film plot of Laxmii (2020):
Asif (Akshay Kumar) is a man with a happy family. But he is scared of ghosts and often backs home before dark.
One day, he is playing cricket with others on a playground. But he does not know one of the stumps he stuck has been stained with a corpse buried under the ground. And after he takes the stumps back home, weird things happen to the family.
All the people suspect the house is haunted. So, they ask a priest for help. Finally, they find a banshee (Sharad Kelkar) in their house, who later possesses Asif. Then, Asif starts behaving freakishly and effeminately: dressing woman’s sari and making up. Plus, he also becomes violent and loses his mind.
Gradually, the family finds that there are three ghosts in their house. So, they hire an exorcist to get rid of the spirit from Asif. As soon as the exorcist manage it, however, the banshee says her name is Laxmii (Sharad Kelkar) and starts revealing her secret.
