Mahendra Singh Hooda (Rajkummar Rao), also called “Montu”, is a physical training teacher with a PT Master degree. But the title for him is just his job.
In the beginning, Montu is not that ebullient in sports education. However, when he falls in love with Neelima Mehra (Nushrratt Bharuccha), a computer teacher, Montu starts doing something to attract her, including teaching.
But things do not go as he expects – Montu meets an opponent in love when Mr. Singh (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub), a new PT senior coach, comes to the school. Mr, Singh is an excellent teacher, putting Montu in the shade from all sides.
